Short History of Syakazuka
There are ruins of the middle of Jomon (3,400 years ago) and the tenth about nine centuries the Syakazuka town old. Hereafter, details should wait for the excavation investigation. The Syakazuka town today started from entering of (1598) Syouhatirou Asano and the vassal for Keityou three years in Shibata Echigo from the Kaga Daisyouji according to Mr. Shibata feudal lord Mizokuchi.
Syouhatirou (1581) Asano (Naohisa Teramoto at that time)15 years old it during positive nine-heaven year, it goes out of Yamasiro Fcagsa (Kyoto) with vassals, and serving of Mizokuchi (Naohisa changed his name as Masahisa Itsumi) in wakasa Takahama (Fukui). The hardship was piled up by sending troops to Kyushu in Kaga Daisyouji (Ishikawa) age, he came to Echigo, he might fight to Uesugi, and it finally settled down in the Syakazuka.
Then, present Shaka-dou with opening simultaneously though Shakyamuni Buddha of the property was enshrined for the memorial service of lord and ancestor's souls and vassals who were killed. After Giemon, the Asano family also served and raised the village headman the seventh day employment for 12 generations.
The starting Shacatsca became Shacatsca town which counted 52 as Syouhatirou Asano, Giemon ( father and son) and 25 vassals now 37 and 64 Meiji9(1876) year Enpou4(1676).
