序論
It is inevitable that an information technology revolution happens in the border 【 this year in 2000 】 if the social phenomenon which value and identity are changed to in a short time is said as the revolution. It thinks whether you must try to mention what is new to the first when it thinks about the thing of the form which copes with a new age. It thinks whether you must mention what is old at the same time, too. It is only just the next age in 1999, and it is age before 2001 though it thinks of た with a thing of an era 2,000 years like the year when this year is special again.
But, there is a factor it thinks that this year will be left in the history. It is because that is thought the age of the turning point of the information technology revolution to come. In other words, it is because it is a year to exceed the population for the population that information technology is operated that not to be so. Information was concentrated on the top management in case of most before.
The high information of the precision of the middle management was far more possible again than a general employee than a middle management as for the top management 【 to obtain it 】. Though there were more general staffs, it had far more products knowledge than the consumer whom we are moving to the target. Therefore, consulting sales were possible. But, a present information technology revolution prevented the inclination of this information from the foundation. A consumer has far much knowledge by the case. It becomes possible that far younger people than the top management and the middle management again obtain much knowledge. Therefore, it is brought up, and all methods change 【 that it was in the information transmission, the conference, the sales promotion, the organization and the service 】.

It tried to check a housewife was interested in what kind of social problem and the category of the matter on the Internet. "Shopping?" "Education?" "Unemployment?" Or, "the safety of food" ,As far as I checked, yes a deviation is big, too, and that is certain to be the category which it has interest it has in. It was "the environmental problem" that the concern of was the highest. Housewives knows that ozone layer destruction, a deforestation problem ,the modernization of the developing country in the environmental problem.And, the housewife who participates in most networks knows the present condition which is not useful if it is just in the solution of the problem at all by the milk pack collection, too.

Obviously the housewife using the Internet constantly is an opinion leader. It was amazed at the thing that such an opinion leader had interest in such most. How to see Hidden Custumer

Though it is probably well known . I think to be here that it is probably a fantasy to have such an idea in the modern supermarket system. That is idealism, and I even think that it is an idea argument. We won't know about the background and so on like the character of the coming guest and a taste and that family.
Furthermore, because a guest and it is a human being, a taste and a character change with the time, too.
Therefore, if it is a slogan, I can carry out a slogan and think that it is necessary to define it. And it is because immense cost starts though it is because backing of concrete action cannot be performed an idealistic theory, idealism, and whether it says and I can do why, and it will think that it is impossible if it is not an organization on condition of profits, such as a public organization and a university. However, I think that the revolution by IT will realize the idealistic theory and idealism as a concrete fact.

ＩＴ革命を歴史に学ぶ<>(第一次ＩＴ革命)

Bismarck who was prime-minister of the German empire said "a wise person learns in history and a fool thinks of his experience". Therefore, probably, we should not guess IT revolution by experience still further

テレビの黎明期に良く聞かれたことですが、「テレビは悪である.
テレビは情報を無制限に流すので、見ないほうがよい。」
文化人といわれる中には、「私はテレビを見ないし、家にはテレビもない。」などと威張っていた者もおりました。現在そのような発言をしたら「変わり者」か「危ない人」と思われてしまいます。即ち、テレビは情報の革命をもたらしたわけです。主婦や一般人のほとんどのNewsや知的情報、エンターテーメント等はテレビから得ているといっても過言ではないでしょう。その意味で、テレビで流される情報は誰もが簡単に知りうる情報ですので、常識となっています。当社にとっても「ためしてがってん」や「おもいっきりテレビ」などに取り上げられた情報は無視できませんし、食中毒情報なども他山の石としての戒めともなるでしょう。

活版印刷機の発明

ＩＴ以前の価値観で今後を見ることは間違いでしょう。それを個人のわずかな経験で考えては無理があります。情報の最初の革命はグーテンベルグの活版印刷機であったと歴史は語ります。グーテンベルグより前には全ヨーロッパには1400年間で写経した聖書が約20000冊ありました。ところが活版印刷機を発明してわずか３年で1,000,000冊になりました。さらに、それ以前は住民の生活範囲は過去900年にわり半径50Ｋｍの中でした。4世紀末からのゲルマン民族の大移動といっても50万人が200年をかけてたった300Ｋｍ移動しただけです。勿論東京大阪間の新幹線の一日の移動人口よりははるかに少ないわけです。ところがそれ以後大航海時代がやってきました。ヨーロッパ人はアジアやアフリカ、アメリカ、オーストラリアと進出し、植民地化していきました。彼らはグーテンベルグの印刷機から科学情報を共有化しました。地図が印刷され、地球は丸いし50Ｋｍ先には何も化物や魑魅魍魎はいなことがわかったからです。

ですから活版印刷機の発明が第一次ＩＴ革命だったわけで、それから20世紀にいたるまでの科学や技術の発展の下支えのなったことは間違いがありません。

私がなぜこんなことを長々と申し上げるかといえば、そのＩＴ革命を無視すれば第一次ＩＴ革命以後の大航海時代に進出された側の先住民族、アジア諸国や南米ペルーのインカ帝国を見る間でもなく、あるいは植民地に、奴隷に、さらに抹殺されることにもなると本気で考えているからです。

メールやＩＴについての誤解の払拭

その点、先日の朝日山の島先生とは強烈に本気で意見が異なります。先に述べましたように、ＩＴがもたらすものは膨大もない情報であり、個々人が選択できると言う意味で絶対的な個人主義であることは間違いないでしょう。同じ本部にいてメールで情報を渡すことについて、先生は問題を提起しておりましたが、ポンと肩をたたいて心が通じるなどと思っているのが今なお旧日本人で実質的権力者に多いなら、日本は国際競争に負けるでしょう。幸い第一次ＩＴ革命の時には東洋のはづれにあった日本はペリー来航までは惰眠をむさぼられたわけですが、今度の革命ではそのようなラッキーな立場は保証されていないでしょう。

分かりあえない世代やアイデンティティが責任を持って情報の伝達をするには同じ部屋にいてもメールの方が正確です。メールは情報が消えませんし、再利用が可能です。したがって誰々がこういったと証拠が残るわけですし、それがゆえによく考えてメールは発信されるのです。

ポンとたたいて理解し合えるのは最近では家族でも難しいのではないでしょうか。ましてや世代、家族構成、地域、家、など環境や教育の違う他人が心通うなどは考えにくいのが現在です。

ＩＴを取り扱うには勇気がいる

私は幾度も過去コンピュータでプログラムを作成している人間に対するいわれなき中傷を浴びてまいりました。「頭でっかち」「現場で商品にさわらない」「お客の声を聞かない」「コンピュータを触るやつは信じれない」とか、挙句の果てには「プログラムやシステムを考えるやつは変人で変態で危険人物だ」とか、罵詈雑言には事欠きませんでした。そして、そのような発言がどのレベルで発せられたかを考えると問題点が浮き彫りにされてきます。テレビの例でもそうでしたがいわゆる文化人であったり、宗教家であったりします。活版印刷機の場合、グーテンベルグ自身が聖書を全ての人々に知らせるためにとの目的のために発明したわけですから、絶対的支持をうけました。だから彼の功績として「四二行聖書」 「カトリコン」および免罪符などの印刷が知られているわけです。

ITに携わる者は、別に信仰心があついわけでもなく、悪いことに全てについて冷静に分析していかなければならないタイプの人々ｆですが決して情熱がないわけではありません。むしろ、惰性で仕事をやっている世渡り上手な人たちよりは遥かに問題にならないほどの情熱をもっているのです。そうでなければとても今までやってこれなかったのです。あえて言うなら新しく複雑なものについて理解できないが故に汚名を着せてはばからない人々が実際に数多くいるわけです。もちろん、若干の誤解もありますが、誤解をもつ人は十分今後の対応は可能です。

よく考えていただきたいのは少なくとも今年の年末までにはインターネット人口は日本人口の半分を超えるし、３０才未満では７０％を超えてしまうという事実です。半分以上が「頭でっかち」で「変態で危険人物」ではないのです。そうでないほうが、先ほどのテレビ時代黎明期の話しでわかるとうり「変人」になるような常識や価値観や意識の急激な変更が根底からおこなわれるのです。

テレビの場合は操作に対してほとんど困難さはありませんでした。ところがコンピュータや携帯電話などでの情報操作は若干のトレーニングが必要となります。そして、その利用価値を正当に理解し中心課題の一つとして認識した時にわれわれは第二次ＩＴ革命を無事に乗り切り、発展的な将来を約束されると思います。車の運転技術を覚えるのに３ヶ月はかかります。それが気に入らないからといって、車が公害の元凶のように、また事故での死亡数も多くあたかも戦争のように言われ忌み嫌らうのはお門違いの発想なのは殆どのミドルエイジ以上の方々でもご理解いただけると思います。なぜなら、それらは自分の肉体の能力や性能の向上に役に立つから理解しやすいわけです。早く走ったり、重たいものをもてたり出来るのは本当に簡単に理解できます。

文字を読めない人に活版印刷物を読み情報を得る楽しさを理解させることが出来るでしょうか？

運転を出来ない人に運転の楽しさを教えることが出来るでしょうか？

テレビを知らない人にテレビの有用性を理解させられるでしょうか？

しかも、情報技術の革命を理解せよと言っても判り易いでしょうか。

価値観の変更を試したり、宣言したりするにも大きな勇気が必要です。いかに地図があるとはいえ、アメリカ大陸を発見する旅にでるには勇気が必要だったのです。第二次ＩＴ革命にはコロンプスほどの勇気は必要ではありません。ただし、グーデンベルグのＩＴ革命よりはあっという間に全世界を制覇するのを否定できるなら、脅威と言うより狂気でしょう。

第一次ＩＴ革命での発生した不平等は当時の欧米列強を巻き込んだ帝国主義のおかげで、数百年の苦しみをそれ以外の国々にあたえました。この不平等、この差別を、今度のＩＴ革命ではデジタルデバイドと言います。デジタルデバイドは小さくは家庭の中や職場、大きくは国のレベルで発生することは先行するアメリカ社会をみれば明らかです。

「車が事故を起こすから車を無くせ」とは言えないのです。そうしたら間違いなく車の事故で死亡する人の５０００倍以上の人間が亡くなります。電気ガス水道といったライフラインのメンテナンスの道具として車は存在します。いわば既に車は血管でありライフラインであります。勿論、ＩＴ技術はさらにその根底にあり、その先にもあるのですから、積極的取り組みを推進しなければ正しい運用など出来ないと思います。幸いこの革命の最中にＩＴについての理解を積んで、重要視している業界人はそれほど多くはないのが実情です。ですから過去の革命では多くの犠牲が出たわけですし、今回も当然排出するわけです。

我々はこれにどのように対応するか他の企業よりは知っているつもりです。教育と決断とその組織化により当社の将来は強固になると確信できます。
